Privacy policy

Your alarms stay yours.

Effective 16 August 2026

Data collection

Alarum does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. The app does not require an account and does not use advertising or third-party analytics.

Alarm information

Alarm times, dates, labels, repeat choices, and enabled states are stored locally on your device. Alarum uses Apple system services to schedule and present alarms. Apple may process system-level alarm information under Apple's own privacy terms.

Permissions

Alarum requests alarm and notification permissions only to schedule alarms, show their titles, and provide sound, vibration, Stop, and Snooze controls where supported by iOS and your device settings.

Data deletion and retention

You can delete individual alarms in the app. Removing Alarum from your iPhone removes its locally stored app data. Because Alarum does not operate user accounts or a cloud database, there is no remote profile to delete.

Changes to this policy

This page will be updated if Alarum's data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
